PRLA Wins Significant Victory

Once again the efforts of the Philadelphia Regional Limousine Association have won a significant victory. You are very aware of the financial duress that had been imposed upon our industry when the PUC raised our annual assessment by an average of 360%. Our Executive Board collectively decided to enlist the services of Craig Doll, Esq. from the Harrisburg area to challenge this. On two separate occasions our presence was required in Harrisburg. Jim Salinger/Unique Limousine attended with me while I presented the testimony on why we sought relief and the basis for such. On Friday May 16, I received a phone call from Mr. Doll:

VICTORY!!

Yes, once again our exhaustive efforts provided the value our members have come to expect. The annual assessments have been returned to their normal percentage calculation of the previous years. I have attached the information as provided by James Schantz (Legislative Assistant to Senator Lisa Boscola) for your review. Once the commission reviews the trial judge decision, every company in the commonwealth will receive notification on how/when to pay your revised annual assessment.
