Cleaning Credit Card Transactions

CARD COMPLIANCE: Kelsey Gerlach, business relationship manager for Century Business Solutions, is concerned that operators become updated on PCI compliance, a policy now adopted by major credit cards for merchant members. The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard has been created to alleviate problems caused by financial fraud and theft. Click here to access the PCI Reference Guide. There's a lot of information to sift through, but it has been provided by industry members who created the PCI compliance standards, Gerlach said. Century Business Solutions has already taken care of this policy change for customers, but the industry should stay updated on this recent changeover. Online booking providers are also making sure these changes are made to their systems.  -- J.L.
