LBOA Scores Important Session With NYC TLC

LBOA -TLC MEETING:
At the request of Sergio A. Sanchez, President, this email is provided. We have been able to convince the NYC TLC  to call a meeting of those in the ground transportation industry to discuss the proposed new rules.
The meeting is set for Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 12:00 noon until 1:30 PM at the TLC offices on Rector Street.
We will be meeting with the TLC staff to explain how these rules seriously impact on our industry and offer suggestions for changes. It is important that we all quickly meet to discuss our mutual positions and to go with a unified, collective voice. We hope you agree with us and can meet in the spirit of harmony for the good of our industry.
Here are some suggestions:
1)  Meet 5:30 PM at the Grand Hyatt at the end of the TLPA convention on Friday, March  27th.
Victor Dizengoff has been kind enough to try and arrange for a meeting place.
2) Prepare and exchange the points you want to cover before the meeting. Click here for our discussion points.
3) Send us the names, telephone numbers and emails of those who you want to attend the meetings on 3/27 and 4/1 so we can inform the TLC.
Space will be limited at the TLC so select no more than two people.

If you have any other suggestions as to who should attend, let us know. Email them to gpalumbo@lboausa.org
We are looking forward to working with everyone for the good of our industry.
Click here to see the list of people provided to the TLC and need your suggestions.
