WAGER: A World Series Cheese-For-All

PRLA VS. LBOA: Sergio Sanchez, president of the Luxury Base Operators Association of New York, is certain that the New York Yankees will take the World Series over last year’s champions, the Philadelphia Phillies. Sanchez has proposed a friendly wager to Philadelphia Regional Limousine Association President Philip Jagiela.
“When the Yankees win, he gives me four Philadelphia Cheese Steaks,” Sanchez says .

“When the Yankees lose to the Phillies, I will be feasting on two New York cheesecakes,” Jagiela retorts.

Although the wager is a friendly bet, both associations have a lot riding on the World Series which should bring business to member operators of both associations. “We have seen an increase in business as a result of the games,” says Jagiela, also owner of Aries Limousine Service, based near Philadelphia.

Sanchez’s company, Partners Executive Transportation, is the official transportation company for the New York Yankees.
