Mother-Daughter Operators Win Local Award

CONNECTIONS PAY OFF: The mother-daughter team that runs Reprise Limousine in Exeter, N.H. does a lot of things right, as their latest recognition shows.

PAT CHRISTOFFERSON AND HEIDI BUNNELL have thrived as operators, despite starting their chauffeured transportation company in a small New Hampshire city during the onset of a severe recession. LCT congratulates this entrepreneurial team, who consistently show up at industry events to make the most of each moment for networking and continuing industry education.

PORTSMOUTH — Referred to as "A Toast To Excellence," the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce held its 2010 Business of the Year Awards at the Sheraton Harborside's Grand Ballroom in Portsmouth on Thursday, March 4, honoring standout businesses and their owners.

President of the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce, Michael Schidlovsky, said he's never seen such a big crowd at a chamber awards dinner.

Anita Jordan of Jordan's Signature Heating, chairwoman of the chamber's Business of the Year Committee, presented awards and gave kudos to the deserving and hard-working businesses nominated.

Reprise Limousine won in the Business Services category, "with a reputation of highly personal and professional service, stating that each client deserves not just a ride, but a service experience," said Jordan in regards to Reprise Limousine.

"As a women-owned company, they have established an undeniable standard of excellence for both their vehicles and chauffeurs."

Owners Heidi Bunnell and Pat Christofferson were at a loss for words, claiming they had never expected to win.

"In August '08, we joined the chamber, and it was the best thing we could have done," Christofferson said. "We thank you for this award. It was totally unexpected, believe me."
