The Climate Times Are A Changin'

CARBON FOOTPRINTS IN THE ICE? Now, one scientist claims we are headed into A 30-YEAR COOLING SPELL, followed by a 30-year warming spell, and another 30-year cooling spell. Will these scientists please make up their minds!? Even most TV WEATHERCASTERS, some of the sunniest personalities on TV, don't accept man-made global warming anymore.

Meanwhile, a Greater California Livery Association town hall meeting in San Francisco (see upcoming LCT E-NEWS) last night about the airport's pending green rules underscored THIS REALITY FOR THE STATE'S MELTING ECONOMY. Just curious, but what kind of legislation would be pursued in the event of global cooling? Bans on ice cream? -- M.R.
