BMW Offers Special Deal To Operators Across The Pond

Thechauffeur.com has reported that BMW’s Chauffeur Program is offering U.K. operators a chance to save more than $5,000 on its 730ld sedan via free upgrade to the long-wheelbase model whose complimentary additional amenities include 5.5 inches extra length, 10 mm extra effective rear headroom, 4 mm extra rear shoulder width, illuminated rear vanity mirrors, rain channels in chrome, self-leveling rear air suspension, and an electric rear sunblind. The cost of a 730ld, which retails at about $99,000, will be $1,099 a month.

BMW corporate sales program manager, Ben Harris, told thechauffeur.com that this offer demonstrates the brand’s commitment to “providing the industry with a strong financial proposition.”

While BMW is a minor player in the U.S. market, their premium 7-series sedans compete with the Merecedes-Benz S550 and the Audi A8. Strack Transportation in Los Angeles and Red Limo of North Miami Beach, Fla. are two examples of U.S. operators using the 7-series in their fleets.
