Toyota Avalon Called A "Lexus Minus the Lexus Name"

Popular Mechanics compiled a list of the 7 best big sedans for the money with the Toyota Avalon topping the list. The Avalon has an MSRP of $33,195 and 121.3 cubic feet of space, and for this price class, it’s tough to beat. It’s roomy, has a quiet interior and a nice finish. The article says it’s a “big car with the smoothest engine of any of our list…and a ride that errs on the soft side,” and calls it “a Lexus minus the Lexus name” (and price, for that matter).

The Toyota Avalon sports a 268-hp V6 and gets 20 mpg city/29 highway. More about the Avalon can be found in the following articles: LCT Review of Toyota Avalon.
