Spy Photos Of Next Toyota Avalon

Shortly after Toyota released a teaser image of an artist’s rendering of the 2014 Toyota Avalon, Autoblog.com published spy shots of a new Avalon prototype, protected in black camouflage to cloak its main features. The sedan’s new shape has a sleekness that resembles a Jaguar or Audi, and the spy photos show a different front fascia, LED taillights and chrome-tipped exhaust pipes.

Toyota has been selling the Avalon Limited to the limousine industry. Click here for LCT’s vehicle review of the Toyota Avalon Limited.

The 2014 Avalon will debut on April 5 at the 2012 New York Auto Show. Media and the public will have the opportunity to participate in a live-streaming video chat with the designers of the new sedan by submitting questions via Twitter and Facebook with the #ToyotaDesign hashtag. The Toyota Design live chat is scheduled for 2 p.m. EDT on April 5, 2012, and hosted on www.facebook.com/toyota.
