Cadillac XTS Sedan Gets Rave Review

LUXURY SPLASH: The 2013 Cadillac XTS sedan, now in livery circulation, gets a favorable shout-out in the New York Daily News, which calls it the most beautiful Cadillac sedan in 20 years. I had the opportunity to be test-chauffeured Sunday evening in one of the first XTS sedans in the Los Angeles market. Although I sat behind a tall chauffeur and my wife in the right rear seat on the way to our destination, my 6'2" frame had enough legroom and back support. On the return trip, we switched seats, and with the front passsenger seat moved forward, leg space is plenty. The ride was as smooth as, and even quieter than, that of a Town Car. The XTS is definitely narrower and smaller than a Town Car L, but its overall feel, aesthetics, and amenities are first-rate. XM satellite radio is an added bonus. With rebates and Cadillac incentives, the price of the XTS is now the same as that of an MKT Town Car. Cadillac delivers a classic, streamlined, 21st Century look with the latest tech, a vehicle with an image that can appeal to old, young and in-between. -- Martin Romjue, LCT editor
