Jon's Bio

Jon LeSage is the webitor of LimoCentric, and a managing editor at LCT Magazine. You may have seen him at an industry event; he’s been to a few since joining LCT in 2005. Being a part of chauffeured transportation has been a vivid, lively experience for him, meeting all sorts of entrepreneurs, start-up operators, and interesting characters in the business. Certainly much more interesting than other businesses he’s covered. Jon will continue to expand the online media side of LCT, write for the magazine, and attend association meetings and industry events.

He had glimpses of LCT experience prior to 2005, such as being a short-term editorial assistant with the magazine back when he started at Bobit in 1991. And then in 1994, the year Sara became publisher, he filled in as editor for a couple of months. During the 1990s, he wrote and edited for Automotive Fleet and Auto Rental News, giving him some helpful background in automotive and transportation. He worked for six years in market research, covering travel/transportation, global markets, and consumer trends. His background helps him at LCT these days, especially covering market trends, alternative-fuel vehicles/hybrids, international growth, industry associations, and legal/legislative issues, and managing Driving Force.

Jon was away from the magazine for a few months in 2007 staying at a hotel (actually, it was a hospital). If you’ve got any questions about what happened or anything to do with LimoCentric, feel free to email him at jon@lctmag.com or call him at (310) 533-2553.
