BRAD GREGORY, FRANKLIN LIMOUSINE SERVICE, FRANKLIN, KY.

Brad bought a 25-year-old limousine service in 2009 from a retiring owner. The company is located between Nashville, Tenn. and Bowling Green, Ky. He had no previous experience in the industry, working for the past decade for an automotive company. While restoring a 1938 theater with his family, he began to think of limousines and how he could operate a limousine company as a side business, running charters specifically for the theater. Brad purchased the limousine company, and the business that was intended to be a sister company to the theater took on a life of its own. Brad now operates a fleet of four limousines, twice as many as when he started. Brad says there is very little competition in his region, which has allowed him to grow rapidly since the choices for limousine service are sparse.
